Elle Quinlan

Elle joined Samuels Solicitors in March 2014 as the Office Assistant, but quickly displayed the ability and desire to take on a different role. 

She became personal assistant to the then Senior Partner, Jan Samuel, carrying out a range of secretarial and paralegal work as well as providing secretarial cover for other fee earners in the firm, during which time, she started studying for a law degree.

Elle achieved a First in her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree with the Open University, and a distinction on her Legal Practice Course. She completed her training contract here at Samuels in Barnstaple at the end of October 2019.

Since starting work at Samuels, Elle has dealt with a wide range of litigation work, including: 

• commercial disputes;
• landlord and tenant disputes;
• professional negligence claims;
• disputes about property ownership; and 
• wills, trust and inheritance disputes.

Elle also has years of experience in commercial property, corporate sales and acquisitions and often provides independent legal advice on personal guarantees, occupier’s consent and deeds of postponement. 

In her spare time, Elle is mostly busy running around after her two young children and spending time with family and friends.
