5 January 2021

Following the Government’s announcement of a new national lockdown on 4 January 2021, we will continue to provide the high level of service expected by our clients.

Our offices in Barnstaple and Kingsbridge are closed to walk in visitors, but business is carrying on as usual through postal, electronic and telephone communication systems, so you will be able to contact us and we will be able to continue working on your matter. We will continue to monitor the situation closely, as well as the official advice to businesses and individuals.

The health and safety of staff and clients is our priority and the government guidelines should be followed by everyone.  If you are in the process of moving home, property transactions can continue and you should follow national guidance on moving home safely. If you have any concerns or queries please do not hesitate to contact our senior partner Jan Samuel jms@samuels-solicitors.co.uk or the fee earner dealing with your matter.

November 2020

With the new lockdown restrictions announced in November 2020, we now have measures in place to allow us to meet with clients face to face in our offices, only where this is essential. Meetings will be by appointment only and attendees will be required to follow guidance on face coverings and the use of hand sanitisers.  We would ask you to only visit the office if it is essential that you do so, and you have a prior arranged appointment so that we can ensure the highest level of safety for our staff and visitors.

The majority of business will still carry on through email, postal, video and telephone communication systems and staff will continue to work remotely where possible in line with Government advice.

The health and safety of staff and clients is our priority and the government guidelines should be followed by everyone. If you have any concerns or queries please do not hesitate to contact our senior partner Jan Samuel jms@samuels-solicitors.co.uk.
