Samuels Sponsors Appledore Book Fest Again

On Monday night, a packed audience at St Mary's Church Appledore were treated to stories and wit from Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards. Samuels Solicitors, based in Barnstaple, were proud to sponsor this sell-out event.
Eddie regaled the audience with stories of his struggles to achieve his dreams, using donated equipment from ski teams around the world, how he made ends meet in difficult times, even eating food left in bins by Scout groups in the Alps, just to survive. He did of course make it to the Olympics, and became a national hero in the process, embodying the Olympic spirit.
Somewhere along the way, he also managed to obtain a law degree - who knew!?
