Glyn Seal
Partner
Glyn Seal is our residential conveyancing solicitor. He qualified as a solicitor in 1979 and has gained an extensive experience in both private practice and in local government in Devon & Somerset.
Jan Samuel
Partner
Jan qualified in 1980 and has extensive litigation and commercial experience. For many years Jan has been on the Law Society panel dealing with Solicitors professional negligence cases.
Julia Cluely
Partner
Julia is the Partner heading the firm's Family Law Department. She has been with the firm since1987, initially training as a Legal Executive before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2002. Julia has experience dealing with all aspects of family law, including Divorce, Children, Financial matters, Injunctions, Separation and Pre-Nuptial Agreements.
Nigel Kinder
Solicitor
Nigel joined Samuels in February 2008, as a very experienced and highly regarded Litigation solicitor. Nigel has proven himself to be a formidable force to be reckoned with in several areas, particularly, Employment, Contract and Litigation matters.
Rebecca Parr
Legal Executive
Becky joined Samuels as an assistant to a Partner dealing with Personal Injury. Since then Becky has qualified as a Legal Executive and is a member of ILEX. On her return from maternity leave, Becky is assisting Julia Cluley in Family department
Sharlene Curley
Conveyancing Clerk
Sharlene joined Samuels as an Office Junior, straight from school; having worked hard and proved her ability, she progressed to secretary and finally running the Mental Health department under the supervision of Julia Cluley. Since then, Sharlene has had a daughter and has returned to Samuels to work with Glyn Seal in our residential conveyancing department, as his able assistant.
Simon Exley
Solicitor
Specialising in commercial property matters he is a practical and enthusiastic results orientated lawyer. He handles all aspects of the disposal and acquisition of commercial property, using his experience of conditional acquisition, block property transactions, estate management, business lettings and secured lending work. He has experience in a number of sectors, in particular the leisure and licenced property sector having advised a wide range of clients from national pub companies through to individual operators. Simon was also involved in consultation in relation to major issues effecting the licenced industry investigated and reported on by the House of Parliament Business and Enterprise Committee.
